The Hungarian Helicon Society invites its members, their family and friends to our Season Opener.

Monster Concert * ~ 2009. október 31. ~ 3 órakor
Remenyi House of Music and North Toronto Institute of Music Present a special musical extravaganza for the entire family, at Massey Hall. Popular piano works by Gottschalk, Rossini, Liszt, Saint-Saens and Bizet. Proceeds benefit SickKids Foundation. Tickets $45. $35, $25.

Dora de Pedery-Hunt, 1913-2008 * ~ November 8, 2009, 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
It has been a family tradition to celebrate - around the time of her birthday - Dora’s spectacular career. In keeping with this tradition, the family honours her with a retrospective showcasing her over 60 years as a celebrated international medallist and sculptor. Location: Women’s Art Association of Canada, 23 Prince Arthur Avenue, Toronto.

Dr. Nándor Dreisziger’s presentation: “The Hungarian Conquest” of the Carpathian Basin in 895 AD in the light of the science of “deep ancestry” (genomics) ~ Thursday, November 12, 2009 ~ 7:30 p.m.
